Efficiency

Usually it's difficult to evaluate the possible savings of energy and costs through regeneration of the waste gas.
The nomogram below and the calculation example should provide you with a first overview. Please keep in mind, that the basic-values are depending on your application.
A "typical" application is shown here.

Please contact us to check the values of your installation. 

Combustion efficiency is depending on the share of O2 in the waste gas and its temperature. The efficiency can be determined with the known values of O2 and the temperature of the waste gas. In this example, the efficiency is multiplied > 2 through the lowering of the waste gas temperature from 1000°C down to 200°C (with regenerator).

Furnace with
1100°C temperature inside and burner for cold air
= 1100°C waste gas temperature, O2 = 2%,

hF = 45%

Furnace with
1100°C temperature inside and regenerator burner
= 200°C waste gas temperature, O2 = 2%,

hF = 91%
