Typ HSO
Its type designation HSO 200/50 indicates the melting- and holding
capacity i.e. 200 stands for a melting capacity of 200 mt per 24/h and
50 for a holding-capacity of 50 mt of liquid aluminium.
The EcoMelter© TYPE HSO is a melting furnace with a very
elaborated furnace design, a dry-hearth can be integrated. It can be
delivered with a hydraulic tilting system or with a pneumatically
stopper-system. The entire surface of the bath is used for melting and
covered with a high vault. The dry-hearth is useful to preheat ingots
and other bulk material, to melt scrap with iron-inlets and to separate
the iron from the melted aluminium. The coat thickness of flue gas over
the melting area ensures a complete combustion and intensive heat
transfer. This furnace is only available with regenerative
burner-systems such as EcoReg© or PulsReg©.
The burner-system can be designed for all types of fuel such as gas, oil
or pulverised fuel.
Typ WSO
(Its type designation WSO 60/5 indicates: 60 mt
melting capacity per 24 hours, 5 mt bath content.)
This furnace type is outstanding useful for ingots in a secondary
aluminium plant. Its a high flexible melting furnace without use of
salt. I.e. as a parallel melting unit to rotating drum furnaces and/or
as a melting and alloying furnace for special applications.
The furnace is tiltable up to 30°.
Typ MSO
This type is a small furnace with
or without dry-hearth. Specially designed for situations where no
important melting capacities are needed and at the same time frequent
changes of alloying are desired. The actual standard version is designed
for a melting capacity of 20 mt up to 25 mt per 24 hour and a holding
capacity of 2 mt up to 5 mt liquid aluminium. It can be delivered as a
non-tilting version with a pneumatically operated plug-system. Hydraulic
tilting is optional. The charging of ingots and scrap is independent of
the draining of liquid aluminium. The special design of the furnace
stands for a small bath surface with a low formation of dross and an
easy, safe and operator-friendly dedrossing via a large door.
The
charging will be built according the application.
Charging the HSO/MSO
Due to the moderate height of the shaft the loading can be done by a
forklift which can charge ingots and production scrap directly to the
shaft. A wide variety of automatic and semi-automatic loading systems
can be adapted to this furnace design. Loading times of less than 2 min
for approx. 1500 kg are usual. There are no special instructions to
follow. |
